It is a potent agonist of the glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor (KD=136pM). Induces cAMP formation and protects against glutamate-induced neurotoxicity. Used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Provided as 0.5 mg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. |
