Background Information: | NECA (5'-N-ethylcarboxamidoadenosine) is a bioactive adenosine analog that is a 22,900 times more potent vasodilator than adenosine, and an inhibitor of platelet aggregation. Potent agonist of the adenosine receptors ADORA1, ADORA2A, ADORA3, and ADORA2B (Ki=14, 20, and 6.2nM for A1, A2A, and A3 respectively, and EC50=2.4uM for A2B). Provided as 10 mg of dry powder. |
