Background Information: | The PathHunter® CHO-K1 MRGPRX2 Bioassay kit provides a robust, highly sensitive, and easy-to-use functional cell based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses ligand (e.g. cortistatin 14) based activation of MRGPRX2 GPCR via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cells overexpress ProLink-tagged MRGPRX2 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of MRGPRX2 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. The bioassay kit contains all the materials needed for a complete assay, including cells, detection reagents, cell plating reagent, positive control agonist, and assay plates. The ready-to-use cryopreserved cells have been manufactured to ensure assay reproducibility, and faster implementation from characterization to lot release. |
