Background Information: | The PathHunter® HepG2 IL11R STAT3 Signaling Pathway Reporter Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line that overexpresses IL11R. It can be used for studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) affecting the STAT3 pathway. This cell line enables assessment of STAT3 pathway stimulation based on changes in the expression of a STAT3 response element-driven reporter protein. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line expresses PL-tagged reporter protein under the control of a STAT3 pathway-inducible transcriptional response element. Pathway activation induces expression of the PL-tagged protein, allowing detection of EFC signal upon addition of EA-containing detection reagent. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. |
