Background Information: | The PathHunter® IL1RL1/IL1RAP Dimerization Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell-based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses ligand (e.g. IL-33) induced dimerization of IL1RL1/IL1RAP receptors. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses IL1RA target protein fused to EA alongside IL1RAP target protein fused to PK. Upon ligand-induced dimerization of IL1RL1/IL1RAP, detectable EFC signal is produced. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates. |
