Background Information: | The PathHunter® U2OS TORC1 Nuclear Translocation Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates affecting the CRTC/CREB pathway. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. forskolin) based pathway activation via detection of resulting TORC1 (CRTC1) nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PL-tagged TORC1 (CRTC1) and nuclear localized EA. Upon pathway activation, induced nuclear translocation of TORC1 leads to production of EFC signal. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. |
