Background Information: | N-terminal 6His-tagged, recombinant, human PRP4, amino acids 663-end. PRP4 is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. It is a transcription factor involved in pre-mRNA splicing. Shares homology with cyclin-dependent kinases and mitogen-activated protein kinases and is thought to be essential for regulating cell growth and survival of some cancers. Reported to be involved in reversing anti-cancer drug-induced cell death in human cancer cell lines through actin cytoskeleton rearrangement and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). |
