| Background Information: | The Ready-to-Assay™ HEK293 G15 Parental Control Frozen Cells are a convenient, thaw and use format of the HEK293 cells used to create ChemiBrite cell lines. These cells have been stably transfected with the ChemiBrite clytin variant alongside mouse Gα15 protein. This G protein allows for forced coupling of any class of GPCR to calcium signaling pathways. These ready-to-assay cells are intended for use as a negative control alongside the corresponding ready-to-assay GPCR-expressing cells. Ready-to-assay kits consist of two vials of the stably modified clonal cell line in a convenient thaw-and-use format. |
