Background Information: | 4-1BB-L, also called CD137L or TNFSF9, is a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF superfamily and is involved in reverse signaling that induces apoptosis in T cells and cytokine secretion by monocytes. 4-1BB-L, the ligand for the co-stimulatory immune checkpoint receptor CD137/TNFRSF9/4-1BB, has been shown to reactivate anergic T lymphocytes in addition to promoting T lymphocyte proliferation. 4-1BB-L signaling through agonism at the 4-1BB receptor induces CD4+ and CD8+ T cells to proliferate and secrete cytokines. Provided as 25 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. |
