Background Information: | Transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) is a cytokine peptide responsible for controlling proliferation, differentiation and other functions in cells. An agonist of TGFBR1, it is also involved in hematopoiesis, wound healing and immune system control, endothelial differentiation, chemotaxis, and the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts. Synthesized in many cell types, including most leukocytes, and acts at many receptors. Provided as 2μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. |
