PathHunter® Exendin-4 Bioassay Kit

The PathHunter Exendin-4 Bioassay Kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay asseses ligand (e.g. Exendin-4) based on activation of GLP-1R GPCR activity via detection of β-Arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged GLP-1R and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of GLP-1R stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal.This assay has been optimized and qualified with Exendin-4 (not supplied in the bioassay kit). Exendin-4 is a registered trademark of . Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.

Typically, a reference medicinal product (RMP) that has been pre-defined by the customer as an internal reference standard is used for those applications. The RMP is not provided with the bioassay kit or supplied by Eurofins DiscoverX.
