Background Information: | Endothelin 3 is an endothelium-derived vasoconstrictive peptide produced in vascular endothelial cells. It is one of the three isoforms of endothelin, and a potent agonist of the endothelin receptor type B (EDNRB). Widely expressed in all tissues, and responsible for development of melanocytes and other neural crest cell-derived cell types. Agonist for EDNRB. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. |
