Background Information: | Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is paracrine growth factor that regulates cell growth, motility, and morphogenesis by activating a tyrosine kinase signaling cascade upon binding to the proto-oncogenic c-Met receptor. Secreted by mesenchymal cells, it has a central role in angiogenesis, tumorigenesis, and tissue regeneration. Acts as an agonist for c-Met. Provided as 10 μg of dry powder alongside Reconstitution buffer. |
