Background Information:
L-α-Lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI) is an endogenous phospholipid and endocannabinoid neurotransmitter. This version is derived from soy. LPI is a novel ligand for the G protein-coupled receptor 55 (GPR55), for which it acts as an agonist. Also thought to be a promoter of RhoA-dependent calcium signaling, and an NFAT activator in embryonic kidney 293 cells. Provided as 1 mg of dry powder.
