Background Information:
The PrecisION™ hKir6.2/SUR2A Recombinant Stable Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying Kir6.2/SUR2A ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. This cell line enables assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cell line overexpresses Kir6.2/SUR2A ion channels. Upon ligand/agonist induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques.
This stable engineered cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
