Background Information: | Fibroblast growth factor-18 (FGF-18) is a heparin-binding growth factor protein with broad mitogenic and cell survival roles. It is involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development (prenatal development and postnatal growth), cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion, with particular roles in the liver and small intestine. FGF-18 is an agonist for FGFR3. Provided as 50 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer. |
