PathHunter® NHR Assay Ready eXpress Kits

PathHunter® NHR eXpress assays are a highly target-specific, whole-cell assay that can either measure NHR translocation or coactivator/ corepressor interaction. The eXpress assay formats offer a complete and convenient kit that includes pre-validated cells, cell plating reagents, pre-diluted control ligands, detection reagents and plates to ensure robust and reliable performance every time you use the kit. By eliminating lengthy, time-consuming and expensive cell culture, PathHunter® eXpress kits enable you to identify agonist/antagonist for the specific NHR of interest.

How does the assay work?

The ready-to-use PathHunter® eXpress NHR assay kits require minimal tissue culture and enables you to obtain results within 24 hours. Simply thaw and plate the cells, and run the assay with your compounds to obtain robust and reproducible results every time.

PathHunter® Glucocorticoid Receptor Assay

 
PathHunter® Glucocorticoid Receptor (GR)  nuclear translocation eXpress cells were plated in a  96- well plate at 10,000 cells/ well and incubated overnight at 37°C. Subsequently cells were treated for 6 hours with test compounds and signal was detected using PathHunter® detection reagents. Data demonstrates the Dexamethasone dependent increase in the translocation of the ProLabel tagged GR into the nucleus.
