Biological Information
Background Information:
The PathHunter® U2OS p53 Nuclear Translocation Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates affecting the p53 DNA damage pathway. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. camptothecin) based pathway activation via detection of resulting p53 nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PL-tagged p53 and nuclear localized EA alongside untagged Keap1. Upon pathway activation, induced nuclear translocation of p53 leads to production of EFC signal.
This stable engineered cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
