cAMP Hunter™ Exenatide Bioassay Kit

Background Information:

The cAMP Hunter™ Exenatide Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses ligand (e.g. Exendin-4) based activation of GLP1R GPCR activity via detection of levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type GLP1R, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR. Upon activation of GLP1R, the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. This assay has been optimized and qualified with Byetta® (not supplied in the bioassay kit). Byetta® is a registered trademark of AstraZeneca. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.
