PathHunter® IL-15 Bioassay Kit (Reporter)

Background Information:

The PathHunter® IL-15 Bioassay Kit (Reporter) is a functional, robust, highly sensitive, and easy-to-use-cell based assay to determine the relative potency of IL-15 therapeutics. In the PathHunter IL-15 Bioassay Kit (Reporter), binding of IL-15 to the IL-15 receptor drives the expression of a reporter protein tagged with the small enhanced ProLabel® (ePL) β-galactosidase (β-gal) enzyme donor fragment. Reporter activity is measured by lysing the IL-15 Bioassay (Reporter) cells with a detection reagent containing the complementary β-gal enzyme acceptor (EA) fragment and luminescent enzyme substrate. Each PathHunter IL-15 bioassay kit contains all the materials needed to perform a complete assay, including cryopreserved, single-use cells, detection reagents, cell plating reagent, and assay plates. Note that control agonist for stimulating the cells, recombinant human IL-15, may not be included in the kit, and may be purchased separately. This bioassay has been optimized for a 96-well plate format.
