Helicase enzymes are molecular motors that use the energy of ATP to unwind DNA or RNA duplexes. These full-length helicases have been validated for substrate-dependent activity via ATP to ADP conversion (using the ADP Hunter Kit) and DNA/RNA strand displacement assays. Biophysical testing was performed using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) to confirm the suitability of the helicases for ligand binding and mechanism of action (MOA) studies.
