Place an Order

How do I place an order? You can place an order online following this general process.

  1. Add products to your cart
    There are several options for adding items to the cart, including:

    • Search results page
      • For individual items, click “+ Cart”
      • For multiple items, select all desired items and click “+ Cart” on the bulk actions toolbar at the bottom of your display.

    • Product detail page
    • Favorites page – Either single or multiple items can be added to the cart
    • Cart Page – Items can be added directly in the cart via “Add Item”

  2. (Optional) Add required items to cart. Certain products require other items for their full use (e.g., cell lines may require cell culture products for their propagation or detection kits for experiments). If a product that has required items was added to the cart, these items will be displayed in the “Items Required but Not Included” section of the cart. These required items can be added to the “Cart Items” section by simply clicking the “+ Cart” action next to the required product.

  3. Indicate where you would like to have your products shipped
    Your company’s address will be selected by default, but you can change the default setting from My Account page within the “Shipping Addresses” tab. You can select any other shipping addresses connected with your company. If a shipping address is not displayed or you need to update it, please provide our Customer Service team with the full address (including contact name, telephone number and email, where appropriate). We will set up the new shipping address for your account (please allow approximately 1 business day to update).
  4. Select your billing address
    Your company’s billing address will be selected by default. You can also select your own address or other billing addresses connected with your company. If a billing address is not displayed or you need to update it, please provide our Customer Service team with the full address (including contact name, telephone number and email, where appropriate). We will set up the new shipping address for your account (please allow approximately 1 business day to update).
  5. Supply Payment Information.
    During this step you will add your Purchase Order, PO, number and upload an electronic version of the PO.

    Note: For certain regions, credit/debit card is another available payment option.

  6. Review information and Confirm Order
    After reviewing your order information and confirming that you understand our Terms & Conditions, click “Confirm Order” to complete your checkout. On the review page, you have the option to add additional recipients for receiving email notifications regarding your order (see E-mail Notifications to see what automated email notifications will be sent related to your order). You can then view your order and related information on Orders page.
